Training

We deliver bespoke training sessions to both BDM teams as well as lawyers. We cover the full range of business development and marketing topics, based on experience or post qualifying experience (PQE). We develop a programme collaboratively with firms to understand their needs, their goals and objectives, time frames and existing resources. We keep things highly practical and often ask participants to collaborate on assignments that can directly and positively impact their work

Coaching

Whilst coaching is a part of our BOOST programme (see learning hub), we also offer 1-1 coaching sessions for both business development and marketing teams as well as lawyers who need some guidance on how to effectively structure their BD efforts. We come in to give people a real BOOST. 

Strategic projects

We have worked with a number of clients developing business development and marketing strategies, technology integration for fee earners and the BD and marketing functions, have worked on international law firm referral network strategies, business development approaches and have supported firms with rebranding strategies. 

Restructuring of the BDM function

We have been involved in a number of BDM team restructuring projects, mostly led by firm management, often asking to optimise the function to be able to support the firm’s ambitious growth plans. We will assess the function including its processes and procedures and provide advice, ensuring the function aligns with the firm’s goals and objectives and is fit to support the firm’s growth trajectory. We have also supported firms in setting up a BDM function from scratch and have helped in the recruitment process to recruit and select professionals to run the function independently after completion of the initial setup.
